Product Details

The Carrier EA36UZ840 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for use in residential and light commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems. This precision metering device regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil, ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency by maintaining proper superheat levels.

Key Features:

  • OEM Carrier replacement part for reliable compatibility
  • Precision refrigerant metering for optimal heat transfer
  • Maintains consistent superheat across varying load conditions
  • Durable construction for long service life
  • Direct replacement for factory-installed components

The TXV is a critical component in refrigeration systems, automatically adjusting refrigerant flow based on evaporator temperature and pressure. This ensures the evaporator coil is properly fed with liquid refrigerant while preventing compressor damage from liquid floodback. Professional installation by a certified HVAC technician is required.

Easy to navigate the ordering process and received the product in a timely manner.

Great shopping experience.

It was good

went good

Overall experience was good until we had to return the item because it wouldn't work with the seat we had. Problem is that when we tred to get the specs on the item you didn't have any of the measurements available. So I was told that if it didn't work I could retun it. When I did you said it was because I ordered wrong so I would be charged to return it. It was wrong because you didn't have any info on the actual size and the only way to see if it would work was to order it.
