TrueDrive REPV282304 Front Upper Ball Joint OEM Replacement

The TrueDrive REPV282304 is an OEM replacement front upper ball joint designed for Volkswagen Vanagon models from 1980 through 1991. Engineered to restore proper front suspension geometry and steering precision, this ball joint serves as a direct drop-in replacement for worn or damaged original equipment components.

Key Features:

• Position: Front upper — fits driver or passenger side (RH = LH)
• OEM-quality replacement designed to match original factory specifications
• Ball joint assembly with hardware included for straightforward installation
• Includes mounting nuts for a complete installation
• Pre-installed dust boot protects internal components from contamination and moisture
• Non-adjustable design for consistent, repeatable fit

A functioning upper ball joint is critical to safe vehicle operation. It acts as the pivot point connecting the upper control arm to the steering knuckle, allowing smooth wheel articulation during steering and suspension travel. Worn ball joints can cause loose or wandering steering, uneven tire wear, and clunking noises — all signs this component should be inspected and replaced promptly.
