J.C. Whitney SET-JF27160003 Rear Brake Caliper Set OEM Replacement 2-Piece Kit

The J.C. Whitney SET-JF27160003 is a complete rear brake caliper replacement kit, supplying both the driver and passenger side calipers as a 2-piece set. Designed as an OEM-style replacement, this kit restores reliable stopping performance to your heavy-duty truck's rear braking system.

How Brake Calipers Work:

The brake caliper is a critical component of any disc brake system. Each time the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder forces the caliper's piston outward, clamping the brake pads firmly against the spinning rotor to slow and stop the vehicle. Over time, caliper seals can harden or crack, pistons can seize, and corrosion can compromise performance — all signs that replacement is needed.

Kit Contents & Features:

• Includes (2) brake calipers — complete left and right rear set
• OEM replacement design for direct, no-modification fitment
• Rear axle position — driver and passenger side
• Built to restore factory braking feel and pedal response
• Designed for the demanding load requirements of Super Duty trucks

Restoring your rear braking system with a matched caliper set ensures balanced braking force across both rear wheels, helping maintain vehicle control and safety under heavy loads or towing conditions.
