What is a Window Regulator? The window regulator is the mechanical assembly housed inside the door panel that controls the up-and-down movement of the window glass. On power window systems, an integrated electric motor drives a cable along a series of pulleys to move the glass along its track. Common symptoms of a failed regulator include slow or stuck window movement, unusual clicking or grinding noises, or a window that falls into the door panel.

Installation requires removal of the door panel to access and replace the assembly. This unit is engineered to restore factory-level performance and is a reliable solution for collision repair or general maintenance replacement.
