The front engine splash shield (also known as a front under cover or engine compartment shield) protects the underside of the engine bay from water intrusion, dirt, and road debris that can accelerate wear on belts, hoses, and other components. Replacing a damaged or missing shield helps maintain proper airflow, reduces road noise, and protects against costly repairs.
