Keystone MB1228185 Front Engine Splash Shield RWD Coupe/Convertible

The Keystone MB1228185 is an OEM-replacement front engine splash shield — also commonly referred to as an engine splash guard, skid plate, belly pan, lower engine cover, or under-tray — designed as a direct-fit replacement for RWD Coupe and Convertible models. This part replaces OEM part number 2055200100-PFM (also cross-referenced as A2055200100).

Constructed from durable polypropylene (PP) plastic via injection molding, this splash shield mounts to the underside of the vehicle's front subframe and serves as a critical barrier between the road surface and vital underhood components.

Key Features:

• Direct bolt-on, OEM-style replacement — no modification required
• Shields engine components including the oil pan, belts, wiring, and sensors from road splash, gravel, and debris
• Helps improve aerodynamic efficiency by smoothing airflow along the vehicle's underbody
• Assists in directing cooling air to engine components as designed by the original engineers
• Injection-molded polypropylene construction for lightweight durability and corrosion resistance
• Replaces OEM part numbers: 2055200100-PFM, 2055200100, A2055200100

Replacing a cracked, broken, or missing engine splash shield is a straightforward way to protect critical drivetrain components from water, salt, and road debris — preserving long-term reliability and maintaining the vehicle's original underbody aerodynamics.
