Product Details

The Replacement RT61290011 is a direct-fit rear back glass lift support strut designed to restore proper function to the rear hatch window on compatible Toyota Highlander models. This gas-charged lift support holds the back glass open securely during loading and unloading, preventing the window from unexpectedly dropping.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM-style replacement for a precise, hassle-free fit
  • Gas-charged design provides consistent and reliable holding force
  • Single part number serves both driver and passenger sides (RH = LH — fully interchangeable)
  • Restores smooth, controlled opening and secure holding of the rear back glass
  • Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Replaces OEM part number: 6893048012

This lift support is an ideal solution when the original strut has weakened, collapsed, or failed entirely. Installation is straightforward with no special tools required, making it a practical DIY repair for maintaining rear glass functionality.
