Replacement RJ54540001 Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve 5-Pin IMRC 4884549AD

The Replacement RJ54540001 Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve is a direct-fit OEM-quality replacement for the factory intake manifold runner control (IMRC) valve used on a range of Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep 4-cylinder engines. Also known as a flow control valve actuator, this component controls the butterfly valves within the intake manifold to optimize airflow for improved engine performance and fuel efficiency, particularly at lower RPMs.

A failed intake manifold runner control valve can trigger diagnostic trouble codes P2004, P2010, and P2017, and may cause symptoms such as difficulty starting, engine misfires, reduced power and acceleration, decreased fuel economy, or an illuminated Check Engine light. Replacing this valve restores proper intake airflow regulation and helps eliminate these issues.
