Product Details

The Replacement RF28080002 is a rear left (driver side) steering knuckle designed as a direct OEM replacement for the Ford Explorer (2006–2010) and Ford Explorer Sport Trac (2007–2010). This knuckle is a critical suspension and drivetrain component that serves as the hub carrier, connecting the wheel hub assembly, brake components, and suspension arms to the vehicle's rear axle assembly.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for OEM Ford part number 6L2Z5B759AG
  • Rear axle position — left (driver) side
  • Engineered to factory specifications for proper fit and function
  • Restores correct wheel alignment geometry and suspension integrity
  • Compatible with existing wheel bearing, hub, and brake hardware
  • Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment standards

A worn, cracked, or damaged rear steering knuckle can cause irregular tire wear, loose handling, and noise from the rear suspension. Replacing with a properly spec'd unit restores safe, predictable vehicle dynamics. This part is intended for use on rear-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations applicable to the listed Ford platforms.
