The Replacement RB51040001 is a direct-fit hydraulic power steering pump engineered as an OEM-quality replacement for select BMW 3-Series and X1 models equipped with a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder turbocharged engine. It directly replaces BMW OEM part number 32416779244 (also formatted as 32-41-6-779-244), restoring proper power-assisted steering function and eliminating common symptoms of pump failure such as heavy or jerky steering, squealing noise during turns, or power steering fluid leaks.

This pump is designed for vehicles without active steering systems. It is a hydraulic vane-type pump (also known as a power assist pump) and does not include a pulley or reservoir — these components are reused from the original installation.
