Replacement REPC581404 Driver Side Cab Corner Panel – Extended Cab Outer Extension, 28x17 In.

The Replacement REPC581404 is a driver side (left-hand) outer cab corner panel designed for full-size C/K extended cab pickup trucks. This panel addresses one of the most common rust-prone areas on these trucks — the lower rear cab corner — restoring the vehicle's structural integrity and factory appearance.

Key Features:

• Driver Side (LH) fitment — outer extension panel for extended cab body style
• Panel dimensions: approximately 28 x 17 inches for full coverage of the cab corner area
• Stamped steel construction — engineered to match OEM body lines, contours, and metal thickness
• EDP (Electro-Deposition Primer) coating — factory-applied black primer provides a base layer of corrosion resistance and is ready to scuff, prime, and paint
• Weld-in installation — the existing rusted panel must be cut out and this replacement panel welded into place for a solid, permanent repair
• OEM-style fitment — designed to replicate the original part's shape and dimensions for proper alignment with adjacent body panels

Cab corner rust is an extremely common problem on these full-size pickup trucks, typically caused by trapped moisture between the inner and outer cab panels. This outer extension panel is sold individually and covers the driver side. Professional body shop installation is recommended, as the repair requires cutting, welding, grinding, and refinishing. For best results, inspect the inner cab corner and rocker panels for rust damage at the same time, as these areas are often affected simultaneously.
