Replacement RB63040015 Power Liftgate Lift Support - Right Side OEM 51247481807

The Replacement RB63040015 is a right-side power liftgate lift support (lift cylinder) designed as a direct OEM replacement, cross-referencing BMW part number 51247481807. This component restores proper powered liftgate operation on compatible BMW X1 (F48) models equipped with the factory power liftgate option.

Unlike conventional passive gas struts, this is an electro-mechanical lift support. Each unit contains an integrated electric motor that drives a threaded spindle to raise and lower the liftgate under power. The system enables automated opening and closing via the key fob, interior controls, or the tailgate-mounted switch. This part replaces the right-hand (passenger side) unit only — a single piece.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement — cross-references BMW OEM part number 51247481807
• Right-hand (passenger side) position
• Designed for vehicles equipped with the factory power liftgate option
• Electro-mechanical spindle drive design — not a passive gas strut
• Restores factory-correct powered open and close operation
• Single unit — sold individually

Installation Note: Initialization/calibration of the liftgate system is typically required after installation. Always replace spindle drives in matched pairs when possible to ensure even, balanced operation and prevent premature wear of the new component.
