Gates PV421 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid

The Gates PV421 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid is a critical emission control component designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This purge valve solenoid precisely controls the flow of fuel vapor from the charcoal canister to the engine intake manifold, ensuring optimal performance and emissions compliance.

Key Features:

• Controls fuel vapor flow from canister to engine for proper EVAP system operation
• Constructed from high-quality materials resistant to fuel vapors and extreme underhood temperatures
• Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for form, fit, and function
• Direct replacement ensures exact fit and easy installation
• Prevents excessive fuel consumption, failed emissions tests, and check engine light illumination

When a purge solenoid fails, your vehicle may run rich, consume excessive fuel, fail emissions testing, or trigger the check engine light. Replacing this component effectively restores the evaporative emission control system to proper operation and performance, ensuring maximum service life and reliability.
