Sporlan Controls 154647 Thermostatic Expansion Valve TXV R-22 3/8" x 3/8" ODF 5' External Equalizer

The Sporlan Controls 154647 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV/TEV) engineered for R-22 refrigerant systems. Designed for use in air conditioning and refrigeration applications, this valve precisely regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator to maintain optimal system performance and efficiency.

This valve features 3/8" x 3/8" ODF (Outside Diameter Fit) solder connections for a secure, leak-free installation in copper line sets. The included 5-foot external capillary equalizer line allows the sensing bulb to be mounted remotely, making it ideal for installations where the evaporator is in a hard-to-reach location or where the system design requires the bulb to be positioned away from the valve body.

Key Features:

• Refrigerant type: R-22 (R22)
• Inlet and outlet connections: 3/8" x 3/8" ODF sweat/solder
• Includes 5-foot external capillary equalizer for remote bulb mounting
• Brass body construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Regulates refrigerant flow based on evaporator outlet temperature and pressure
• Suitable for air conditioning and refrigeration system applications
• Manufactured by Sporlan, a division of Parker Hannifin Corporation

Sporlan has been a trusted name in HVACR controls since 1934, delivering precision-engineered components that optimize system performance and reliability. The 154647 TXV maintains consistent superheat at the evaporator outlet, helping to protect the compressor and maximize system efficiency.
