The Danfoss 067N6409 is a TGE series thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) engineered for R454B refrigerant in light commercial and commercial air conditioning systems. Featuring 3/8" inlet x 5/8" ODF outlet solder connections and a 59" capillary tube, this valve delivers precise refrigerant metering with an orifice capacity of 5 tons of refrigeration (TR) across an operating temperature range of -15°F to 50°F.

The TGE series utilizes a balanced port design that isolates valve operation from fluctuations in pressure drop, ensuring consistent and stable control even under widely varying load conditions. External pressure equalization and an adjustable superheat setting make this valve well-suited for systems with higher evaporator pressure drops, and allow field technicians to fine-tune superheat as needed.
