SEM Products 45504-SHORT Rust Trap Black Urethane Rust Encapsulator Coating - 1 Quart

The SEM Products Rust Trap (45504-SHORT) is a high-gloss, moisture-cured urethane coating engineered to restore and protect rusty metal surfaces. Formulated for direct application over rust or bare sanded steel, this professional-grade rust encapsulator seals existing corrosion and creates a hard, non-porous barrier that prevents new rust from forming.

Rust Trap bonds directly to oxidized metal without the need for complete rust removal, making it an efficient solution for automotive, marine, aerospace, and industrial repair applications. Once cured, the coating delivers outstanding durability and chemical resistance, drying to a rock-hard gloss finish that will not chip, crack, or peel.

Key Features:

• Apply directly to rust or bare sanded steel — no full rust removal required
• Seals existing rust and actively prevents new rust formation
• Moisture-cured urethane formula for superior bonding and durability
