Genuine 104 123772 Purge Valve Solenoid - 104

The Genuine 104 123772 Purge Valve Solenoid is a critical component of your vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. This solenoid controls the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine intake manifold, allowing stored vapors to be burned during normal combustion rather than released into the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for original equipment purge valve solenoid
• Controls vapor flow from EVAP canister to intake manifold
• Helps maintain proper emission control system operation
• Prevents check engine light codes related to EVAP system
• Engineered to OEM specifications for reliable performance

This purge valve solenoid is electronically controlled by the engine control module (ECM) to open and close at precise intervals based on engine operating conditions. A failing purge valve can cause rough idle, poor fuel economy, failed emissions tests, or trigger diagnostic trouble codes such as P0443, P0455, or P0496.
