The Falken Espia EPZ II 225/55R17 XL 101T is a studless winter tire engineered to deliver confident performance in the harshest cold-weather conditions. Built with advanced tread design, silica-enriched compound technology, and a robust radial construction, this tire is an excellent choice for CUVs, SUVs, and passenger cars that demand reliable winter traction without sacrificing ride quality.

Key Features:

• Silica-Enriched Tread Compound: Maintains flexibility in cold temperatures, combining winter and cold dry driving performance for year-round confidence in freezing climates.
• Zigzag Main Groove Design: The uniquely shaped main grooves efficiently evacuate water and slush to resist hydroplaning on wet winter roads.
• Biting Edges for Ice & Snow: Tread notches and sipes provide maximum grip on packed snow and icy surfaces.
• Wide Circumferential Grooves: Channel water away from the contact patch to maintain traction on wet roads.
• Stabilizing Rib Design: Strategically placed ribs, including large outer-edge block-style ribs, contribute to a comfortable and stable driving experience.
• Extra Load (XL) Rating: Reinforced construction handles higher load demands with a maximum load capacity of 1,819 lbs and up to 50 PSI max inflation pressure.
• 12/32" Tread Depth: Generous tread depth delivers long-lasting winter performance.
• Black Sidewall (BSW): Clean, classic black sidewall appearance.

The Falken Espia EPZ II is a studless snow tire rated for speeds up to 118 mph (T speed rating), making it equally at home on cleared highways as it is on snow-covered back roads. With a 4-ply (Load Range B) construction, this tire offers durability and stability season after season.
