WAI 6970R Ignition Distributor - New Replacement

The WAI 6970R is a 100% new ignition distributor designed as a direct OE replacement for failed or worn ignition distributors. As a critical component at the heart of the engine's ignition system, the ignition distributor is responsible for triggering the ignition coil, managing timing advance, and routing the coil's high-voltage output to each spark plug in the correct firing order.

Key Features:

• 100% New Construction — Built entirely from new components with no remanufactured or recycled parts, eliminating the need for a core return
• OE-Matched Design — Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications for precise fit and function
• Precision-Machined Housing and Shaft — Ensures accurate mounting, correct positioning, and prevents bearing failures at high speed
• New Ignition Module Included — WAI-designed ignition module meets OEM specifications for reliable spark timing
• Complete Ready-to-Install Unit — Includes cap, rotor, and all necessary components for a straightforward installation
• Fully Tested — Every distributor is performance-tested prior to shipment for long-lasting reliability

A worn or failing ignition distributor can cause misfires, poor driveability, increased fuel consumption, and hard starting. The WAI 6970R restores proper ignition timing and spark delivery to bring engine performance back to factory specifications.
