Product Details

The Dorman 926-826 HVAC Mode Door Control Cable is a direct-fit replacement cable designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's heating and air conditioning system. This cable connects the mode control lever or knob on your dashboard to the blend or mode door actuator inside the HVAC housing, allowing you to switch airflow between vents, floor, and defrost positions.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE replacement — engineered to match the fit and function of the original factory cable
  • Restores proper airflow mode selection (vent, floor, defrost, and blend positions)
  • Manufactured to Dorman's quality standards for reliable, long-lasting performance
  • Designed for straightforward installation with no cutting or modification required
  • Helps eliminate stuck or unresponsive HVAC mode selector issues

Over time, HVAC mode control cables can stretch, fray, or break, leaving you unable to direct airflow where you need it. The Dorman 926-826 provides an affordable, dealer-quality alternative to expensive OEM parts, getting your climate control system back to full operation quickly and efficiently.
