3M 6656-SHORT Automotive Refinish Masking Tape 388N Yellow Crepe Paper Short Roll

3M Automotive Refinish Masking Tape 388N (6656-SHORT) is a professional-grade yellow crepe paper masking tape engineered for the critical paint masking demands of the collision repair and automotive refinishing industry. The "-SHORT" designation indicates this is the short-roll format, ideal for shops and technicians who need manageable roll sizes for precision work.

The tape features a proprietary rubber-based adhesive that delivers instant, reliable adhesion to a wide variety of automotive substrates including metal, plastic, glass, and primer surfaces. Its specially treated crepe paper backing provides excellent solvent and moisture resistance, minimizing paint bleed-through while allowing for a controlled, easy unwind during application.

Key Features:

• Yellow crepe paper construction designed for automotive refinish and collision repair masking
• Rubber-based adhesive provides instant tack and strong holding power on all vehicle surfaces
• Semi-smooth, thin, and flexible backing conforms to curves and contours without tearing
