GPD 2611397 External Transmission Oil Cooler

The GPD 2611397 is a direct-fit external transmission oil cooler designed to reduce automatic transmission fluid temperatures and protect your drivetrain from heat-related damage. GPD (Global Parts Distributors) has been a trusted name in aftermarket thermal management components since 1974, supplying high-quality replacements for a wide range of domestic and import vehicles.

External transmission coolers work by routing hot transmission fluid through a dedicated heat exchanger — separate from the radiator — where heat is transferred to the ambient air before the fluid returns to the transmission. This process keeps fluid temperatures in the optimal operating range, extending transmission life and maintaining consistent shift quality.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet or exceed OE fit, form, and function
• Helps prevent transmission overheating and premature fluid breakdown
• Reduces thermal stress on internal transmission components
• Built from quality materials for long-lasting, reliable performance
• Direct replacement design for straightforward installation
• Backed by GPD's 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

Replacing a leaking, damaged, or underperforming external cooler with the GPD 2611397 is a cost-effective way to safeguard your automatic transmission and avoid expensive repairs down the road.
