Nissens 9991106 A/C Thermal Expansion Valve TXV

The Nissens 9991106 is a direct-fit automotive air conditioning thermal expansion valve (TXV) engineered as a precise aftermarket replacement for the original equipment component. As a critical control element in the AC refrigerant loop, the TXV meters the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator, maintaining the correct superheat conditions needed for optimal system cooling performance.

Key Features:

• OE-matched performance: Designed and calibrated to match original equipment specifications for pressure output, set-point, and opening behavior
• Includes hardware: Comes equipped with O-rings and mounting bolts where applicable for a complete, ready-to-install replacement
• Block-type valve technology: Compact block-style design for straightforward installation and reliable sealing
• Thorough welding process: Precision-welded construction to eliminate refrigerant gas leaking at the power element
• Outlet and operating pressure tested: Each valve undergoes comprehensive performance validation including pressure performance, tightness, opening, and set-point testing
• Protects the AC compressor: Proper refrigerant metering ensures adequate oil circulation through the loop, preventing compressor slugging, overheating, and premature failure

Nissens thermal expansion valves are manufactured to stringent quality standards, with comprehensive in-house testing covering durability, pressure performance, internal cleanliness, and tightness — all validated to precise OE matching standards. Replacing the TXV is strongly recommended any time the AC compressor is replaced or when the system has experienced severe contamination or compressor failure.
