OEM 2042404217 Mercedes-Benz Engine Mount Front Left/Right

The OEM 2042404217 is a genuine Mercedes-Benz front engine mount designed to secure the engine to the vehicle's subframe and isolate engine vibration from the cabin. This mount fits the W204 and W212 chassis equipped with the M271 four-cylinder engine, providing OEM-grade durability and fit.

Engine mounts, also called motor mounts, play a critical role in keeping the powertrain properly positioned while absorbing torque loads and dampening vibration. A worn or failed mount can cause excessive engine movement, drivetrain misalignment, vibration felt through the cabin, and accelerated wear on surrounding components. Replacing with an OEM-specification part restores proper engine positioning and ride quality.
