Nissens 999938 A/C Thermal Expansion Valve TXV

The Nissens 999938 is a high-quality Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) — one of the most critical control components in a vehicle's air conditioning system. Acting as a precise metering device, it regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator, maintaining the correct superheat condition for optimal A/C system performance and efficiency.

Engineered to OE-matching standards, this expansion valve separates the high-pressure and low-pressure sides of the A/C loop and ensures the system delivers maximum cooling output while protecting the compressor from slugging, lubrication failures, and overheating.

Key Features:

• Precise refrigerant flow metering for optimal evaporator superheat control
• OE-matching design and set-point configuration for drop-in fitment
• Comprehensive testing including pressure performance, tightness, opening, and set-point validation
• Includes O-rings and mounting bolts for a complete installation
• Thorough welding process to eliminate refrigerant gas leaking
• Outlet pressure and operating pressure tested prior to packaging
• Manufactured to Nissens' premium quality standards for long service life

Nissens recommends replacing the TXV whenever an A/C compressor is replaced or after any system flushing procedure. Replacing the expansion valve during compressor service helps prevent repeat failures and ensures the entire A/C loop operates within correct refrigerant parameters.
