Nissens 999979 A/C Thermal Expansion Valve TXV

The Nissens 999979 is a direct-fit replacement A/C Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) engineered to restore proper refrigerant flow and system balance to your vehicle's air conditioning system. As one of the most critical components in the AC loop, the TXV precisely meters the amount of refrigerant released into the evaporator while separating the high-pressure and low-pressure sides of the system.

Key Features:

• OE-Matched Performance: Engineered to precisely match original equipment specifications for pressure performance, set-point configuration, and refrigerant superheat control
• Comprehensive Quality Testing: Validated for pressure performance, tightness, opening behavior, set-point setting, and internal cleanliness to strict OE standards
• Optimized Sensing Element: Specially designed charge formula ensures correct valve opening behavior matched to the specific system requirements
• Complete Kit: Includes mounting bolts and O-rings where applicable for a straightforward, first-time-right installation
• Compressor Protection: Maintains proper refrigerant superheat to prevent compressor slugging, lubrication failures, and overheating
• Durable Construction: Precision-welded power element assembly with thorough welding process to eliminate gas leakage and ensure long service life

Nissens recommends replacing the expansion valve any time an A/C compressor is replaced or when the system has experienced severe contamination or compressor failure. Installing a quality TXV alongside a new compressor helps protect the compressor investment and ensures reliable, long-term climate system performance.
