Nissens 999949 A/C Thermal Expansion Valve TXV Block Type

The Nissens 999949 is an OE-quality Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) engineered for precise refrigerant flow control within the vehicle's air conditioning system. As a critical A/C component, the expansion valve meters the amount of refrigerant released into the evaporator, separating the high-pressure and low-pressure sides of the A/C loop to maintain optimal system balance and cooling performance.

Key Features:

• Block-type valve technology for compact, reliable refrigerant metering
• Thorough welding process to eliminate refrigerant gas leaking
• Outlet pressure tested and operating pressure tested at the factory
• Leak-tightness tested to ensure long-term reliability
• Proper charge technology applied to the sensing element for accurate superheat control
• Preset to maintain superheat conditions within the evaporator for optimal A/C output
• Manufactured to OE standards in quality, performance, and installation fit
• Includes O-rings and mounting bolts for a complete installation

Nissens manufacturing standards include comprehensive testing and validation covering pressure performance, tightness, opening set-point, and internal finish — all matched to precise OE specifications. This expansion valve helps protect the A/C compressor from slugging, lubrication failures, and overheating by ensuring proper refrigerant parameters are maintained throughout the system.
