Firstco 9EVR454B-2 TXV Kit for R454B Refrigerant 2 Ton and Under

The Firstco 9EVR454B-2 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) kit designed specifically for use with R454B refrigerant in HVAC systems rated at 2 tons of cooling capacity and under. This TXV kit provides precise refrigerant metering to optimize system performance and efficiency in residential and light commercial applications.

Key Features:

• Engineered for R454B refrigerant, a low-GWP alternative to R410A
• Suitable for systems up to 2 ton capacity
• Maintains optimal superheat control for improved efficiency
• Complete kit includes necessary components for installation
• Helps ensure proper refrigerant flow under varying load conditions

This TXV kit is an essential component for system retrofits transitioning to R454B refrigerant or for new installations using next-generation low-global-warming-potential refrigerants. The thermostatic expansion valve automatically adjusts refrigerant flow based on cooling demand, helping to maximize system efficiency and prevent compressor damage from liquid floodback.
