Ranco RTXVBD-4A-5 Bi-Directional Thermostatic Expansion Valve 4 Ton R404A/R507

The Ranco RTXVBD-4A-5 is a bi-directional thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for medium and low-temperature refrigeration applications. This 4-ton capacity valve is specifically engineered for use with R404A and R507 refrigerants, making it ideal for commercial refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigerated display cases.

Key Features:

• Bi-directional design allows refrigerant flow in either direction for reverse cycle applications
• 4-ton nominal capacity provides precise refrigerant metering for medium-duty systems
• Factory-charged with R404A/R507 refrigerant for proper superheat control
• Durable brass construction ensures long-lasting performance in demanding environments
• Replaceable power element for extended service life
• Maintains consistent superheat control across varying load conditions

This thermostatic expansion valve regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator, maintaining optimal superheat and ensuring efficient system operation. The bi-directional capability makes it particularly suitable for heat pump applications and systems requiring refrigerant flow reversal. Designed for reliable performance in commercial refrigeration environments, the RTXVBD-4A-5 helps maintain system efficiency while preventing compressor damage from liquid floodback.
