Brembo 2PD.8040A1 GT Big Brake Kit Disc Upgrade - 2-Piece

The Brembo 2PD.8040A1 GT Big Brake Kit is a high-performance braking upgrade engineered from decades of motorsport expertise. Featuring Brembo's signature 2-piece floating disc design, this kit delivers superior stopping power, fade resistance, and thermal management for performance street and track applications.

At the heart of this kit are aluminum multi-piston calipers paired with a 2-piece composite rotor assembly. The floating disc design allows the friction ring to expand and contract independently, dramatically improving heat dissipation and resistance to thermal cracking compared to conventional one-piece rotors. Brembo's exclusive venting geometry increases cooling capacity and improves resistance to cracking from thermal shock.

Key Features:

• 2-Piece Floating Disc Design — Reduces thermal stress and minimizes brake fade under repeated hard stops
• Aluminum Multi-Piston Calipers — Lightweight construction with exceptional rigidity and minimized flex under load
• High-Performance Brake Pads — Application-specific friction compounds included for immediate performance out of the box
• TÜV/DOT Homologated Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines — Consistent pedal feel and improved fluid pressure response
• CNC Billet Caliper Mounting Brackets — Precision-machined adapters for secure, rattle-free fitment
• Complete Hardware Kit Included — All necessary fasteners, anti-rattle hardware, and installation components provided
• Available Caliper Colors — Red, black, or silver to complement your build

Designed and validated for both spirited street driving and demanding track-day sessions, the Brembo GT Big Brake Kit delivers consistent, predictable braking confidence in every condition. The unmistakable Brembo-logo calipers and precision-finished rotors also provide a striking visual upgrade behind your wheels.
