Four Seasons 73721 HVAC Air Door Actuator

The Four Seasons 73721 is a direct-fit HVAC air door actuator designed to restore proper function to your vehicle's heating and air conditioning system. Air door actuators — also called blend door actuators or mode door actuators — are small electric motors responsible for controlling airflow direction, temperature blend, and mode selection inside the HVAC plenum box.

When an air door actuator fails, common symptoms include clicking or ticking noises from behind the dashboard, air stuck blowing from one vent regardless of mode selection, or inability to adjust temperature between hot and cold. Replacing the actuator with a quality unit like the Four Seasons 73721 restores full climate control functionality.
