Product Details

The Standard Motor Products SLS166 is a direct replacement stoplight switch designed to activate your vehicle's brake lights when the brake pedal is pressed. This critical safety component ensures proper brake light operation and, on vehicles with keyless ignition systems, enables the engine start function.

Key Features:

  • Brass or high-impact composite housing for maximum durability and performance
  • Special-design spring and contact arrangement reduces arcing for extended service life
  • Copper alloy conductors provide superior electrical conductivity with minimal resistive losses
  • 100% tested to verify both mechanical and electrical switching performance
  • Direct OEM replacement for reliable, maintenance-free operation

A faulty stoplight switch can prevent brake lights from illuminating and may cause no-start conditions on vehicles equipped with push-button start systems. Standard Motor Products manufactures this switch to exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring dependable performance and proper integration with your vehicle's electrical system.

Amazing prices, cheapest I could find anywhere. Only down side is the shipping is more than it should be.

quick

Very happy with my purchase and product from Autoplicity! Highly recommend.

Pretty easy forward

I was looking for KC lights for my jeep, not only CI they have just the ones I was looking for, they were half the price of any local auto shop! Shipping costs were very low to. Thanks!

autoplicity has the lowest price and fast service .I will definitely use autoplicity for my next auto parts purchase

At first I did not expect Autoplicity to even carry this part, but in fact they did. Placed the order and I received the part quickly. They were the cheapest for the part after searching nearly everywhere. Will order from them again.<br>Order #8334

I ordered the Truxport tonneau cover for my Nissan Frontier. I am very happy with Autoplicity, they have the best price by far on this product, and they promptly sent me an email when it was shipped.....the ONLY thing I wish they would have done but didn't is to include a tracking number. I think the reason they didn't include it is that it was shipped directly from the manufacturer, but they did give me the tracking number when I called and asked for it. Overall a very positive experience

Great prices and very quick shipping! Thanks
