Peerless Boiler 54247 Flame Sensor Kit with Gasket and Hardware

The Peerless Boiler 54247 is a genuine OEM flame sensor kit designed for Purefire series high-efficiency condensing boilers. This critical safety component detects the presence of flame during burner operation and signals the control board to maintain gas flow, preventing dangerous lockout conditions.

Key Features:

• Complete flame sensor kit includes gasket and mounting hardware for easy installation
• Single metal rod design with ceramic insulator positioned directly in the burner flame
• Compatible with Purefire models PF50, PF80, PF110, PF140, PF210, and PF399
• Also fits PFC-460 commercial models
• Simple replacement process with just four mounting screws
• Essential maintenance part for optimal boiler performance and safety

The flame sensor monitors flame presence by detecting microamp current flow through the flame. When the sensor becomes fouled or fails, it can cause A01 ignition lockout errors, resulting in boiler shutdown. Regular inspection and replacement of this component ensures reliable operation of your Peerless Purefire condensing boiler system.
