Intense 1428130-500 DVO Coil Spring 500 lbs

The Intense 1428130-500 is a high-performance coil spring designed for DVO rear shock systems. This spring features a 500 lb/in spring rate, making it suitable for aggressive riders and heavier weight classes who demand consistent suspension performance.

Key Features:

• 500 lb/in spring rate for firm, progressive suspension action
• Engineered specifically for DVO shock applications
• High-quality steel construction for durability and consistent performance
• Precision wound coils maintain linear spring rate throughout travel
• Compatible with Intense mountain bike frames utilizing DVO rear shocks

Coil springs offer advantages over air shocks including superior small bump sensitivity, consistent performance regardless of temperature, and a more linear spring curve. The 500 lb rating is typically suited for riders in the 200-230 lb range depending on riding style and terrain, though proper spring selection should be based on manufacturer recommendations and rider preference.
