Arlen Ness 18-947 Inverted Series Air Cleaner - 10-Gauge Kit Black

The Arlen Ness 10-Gauge Inverted Series Air Cleaner Kit combines patented Big Sucker™ technology with an inverted filter top that maximizes airflow by pulling in air from the face of the air cleaner as well as the traditional method of pulling air from the sides. Each kit is machined entirely from forged billet aluminum to provide the best performance and style.

Key Features:

• Handmade air filter made in the USA with inverted pleated top and pleated sides to maximize airflow
• Pre-oiled black filter element encapsulated in a stainless steel jacket for ultimate style and durability
• Forged air filter housings feature built-in velocity stacks that enhance performance and looks
• Forged billet backing plate features a proven radius inlet, hidden breather hardware and Big Sucker patented technology
• Hidden breathers are o-ringed at the heads and exit at the mouth of the injector/carb for efficient engine breathing
• Integrated patent-pending oil catch prevents oil from saturating the filter and restricting airflow
• Includes all mounting hardware and gaskets for complete installation

The breathing system eliminates oil issues associated with M8 engines by directing any excess breather oil back into the engine. This creates a virtually closed loop system that eliminates the need for external hoses or hardware, providing clean aesthetics and reliable performance for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
