Product Details

The Cycle Craft 22748 is a precision-manufactured #50 pilot jet designed specifically for Keihin butterfly-style carburetors found on Harley-Davidson motorcycles from 1976-1989. This replacement pilot jet allows you to fine-tune your carburetor's low-speed fuel delivery and idle circuit performance.

Key Features:

  • Pilot jet size: #50 (0.50mm bore)
  • Designed for Keihin butterfly carburetors
  • Features 0.6mm bore bleed holes specific to butterfly-type carbs
  • Precision-machined brass construction for accurate fuel metering
  • Direct replacement for Harley-Davidson OEM part number 27302-84
  • Also known as Drag Specialties part number DS289310

The pilot jet controls fuel mixture during idle and initial throttle opening. Proper jetting is essential for smooth running, easy starting, and optimal engine performance. This jet is covered by a rubber plug in the carburetor body during installation. Note that butterfly-type pilot jets are not interchangeable with CV carburetor pilot jets due to different bleed hole sizes.

Very satisfied with THMotorsports : ) They had the part I needed in stock, at a very reasonable price, and they shipped it out extremely fast. I will be doing more business with them!
