Product Details

The JL 8V0 862 153 A is a fuel filler door lock actuator — also commonly referred to as a fuel door release actuator or fuel lid actuator — designed as a direct-fit replacement for Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. This solenoid-driven actuator controls the locking arm that secures or releases the fuel filler door, allowing it to open when the interior release button is pressed.

When the actuator fails, the fuel door may refuse to open or fail to latch properly. Replacing the actuator restores proper fuel door operation without requiring additional modifications.

Key Features:

  • Solenoid-operated locking mechanism with actuating rod and locking arm
  • Direct OEM-equivalent replacement — part number 8V0 862 153 A (also referenced as 8V0-862-153-A and 8V0862153A)
  • Restores proper fuel filler door release and locking function
  • Located in the quarter panel / rear body section of the vehicle
  • One actuator required per vehicle

Cross-Reference / Associated Part Numbers: 8V0862153A, 8V0-862-153-A, 8V0 862 153 A, 75973, 4046283759736

I was charged $9.99 for shipping even though the ad stated free shipping...i was refunded $9.99 BUT i still paid tax on that $9.99 that i was not refunded. Other than that everything was all good...the megan racing muffler looks and sounds great!!! I wanted a muffler that wasnt obnoxiously loud but louder than stock and thats exactly what i got....AND the construction of the muffler is definitely good quality!!

Very easy to use website. Pricing is incredible

easy order and good price
