URO URO-019151 Nitrogen Oxide NOx Sensor

The URO URO-019151 Nitrogen Oxide Sensor is a precision emissions monitoring component designed to ensure compliance with strict environmental regulations. This NOx sensor continuously monitors the levels of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust stream, providing critical data to the engine control module and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement design for simplified installation
• High-temperature ceramic construction withstands harsh exhaust conditions
• Electrochemical sensing technology delivers accurate NOx detection
• Integrates with SCR system to optimize diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) injection
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications for reliable performance
• Manufactured by URO Parts, a trusted brand for European vehicle components

Nitrogen oxide sensors play a vital role in modern diesel emission control systems by measuring NOx levels both upstream and downstream of the SCR catalyst. When the sensor detects elevated NOx concentrations, it signals the SCR system to adjust DEF injection rates, converting harmful nitrogen oxides into harmless water and nitrogen. A faulty NOx sensor can trigger check engine lights, cause engine derate or limp mode, reduce fuel efficiency, and result in excessive emissions. URO Parts specializes in quality aftermarket replacement components for European vehicles, offering cost-effective alternatives to overpriced OEM parts without compromising quality or reliability.
