Avon 640848 TrekRider AV85 Rear Tire 150/70-18

The Avon TrekRider is a true 50/50 adventure tire offering balanced on-road and off-road performance with an aggressive tread pattern design. As Avon's first adventure tire providing a 50/50 split of on-road versus off-road performance, the TrekRider is designed for light to medium trails and works as well in mud and gravel as it does on asphalt.

Key Features:

• Dual-rubber compound construction with harder center tread for longer wear and softer shoulder compound for enhanced grip in corners
• Built with blended synthetic rubber high in carbon black over three nylon tread plies, supported by three nylon sidewall plies for rear tires
• Stout chevron tread pattern provides quiet travel and smooth ride on paved surfaces
• Large grooves between chevrons hook up predictably on gravel and loose terrain
• Well-rounded profile prevents the feeling of falling off tire edges during aggressive cornering
• Made in England with premium quality construction

Riders praise the TrekRider for excellent on-road grip, confidence-inspiring wet weather performance, and versatility in mixed terrain. The dual-compound design delivers excellent mileage, with expectations of approximately 8,000 miles on the rear tire under average use conditions.
