Product Details

The ACDelco 84023903 Hood Lift Support is a genuine GM OE replacement gas strut designed to hold your vehicle's hood in the open position safely and securely. This pressurized lift support eliminates the need for a prop rod and provides smooth, controlled hood operation for easier engine access and maintenance.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE replacement for original equipment hood strut
  • Nitrogen gas-charged cylinder provides consistent lifting force
  • Corrosion-resistant construction for long service life
  • Pre-installed mounting hardware for easy installation
  • Tested to meet GM's strict quality and performance standards

When your hood strut fails, the hood may not stay open properly or could drop unexpectedly, creating a safety hazard during maintenance. This ACDelco replacement strut restores proper hood support function and ensures safe, hands-free access to your engine compartment. ACDelco parts are manufactured to GM's original specifications, ensuring proper fit and reliable performance.
