Gates 52061 Premium Molded Coolant Hose 1-1/4 Inch x 21-1/4 Inch

The Gates 52061 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is an OEM-quality replacement hose designed for radiator and cooling system applications. This pre-shaped molded hose features 1-1/4 inch inlet and outlet diameters with an overall length of 21-1/4 inches, ensuring a precise fit for specific vehicle applications.

Key Features:

• EPDM tube and cover construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement for superior durability
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Heat and ozone resistant materials withstand temperatures from -40°F to +275°F
• Pre-shaped design ensures proper fit and sealed connections without modification
• Materials resist vacuum collapse, reducing the need for internal springs
• Meets SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications for quality and performance

Gates molded coolant hoses are manufactured to exact OEM specifications for upper, lower, bypass, heater, and other cooling system applications. The advanced EPDM compound resists chemical coolants and prevents the micro-cracking that leads to premature hose failure. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps whenever installing a new coolant hose for optimal sealing and system integrity.
