Rheem-Ruud RXAD-A08 Zero Degree Low Ambient Control Kit R-410A Heat Pump

The Rheem-Ruud RXAD-A08 Low Ambient Control Kit is a genuine OEM accessory designed for use with compatible Rheem and Ruud outdoor heat pumps and air conditioning condensing units operating on R-410A refrigerant. This kit enables reliable system operation in cold weather conditions by automatically protecting the unit when outdoor temperatures drop to low ambient levels.

The RXAD-A08 functions as a low-pressure limit control with automatic reset, monitoring suction-side pressure and cycling the compressor off when pressures drop to unsafe levels — then automatically resetting once conditions normalize. This helps prevent compressor damage and ensures consistent performance in colder climates.

Kit Includes:

• Low Ambient Control (Low Pressure Limit – Auto Reset) – Part No. 47-100571-05
• Relay – Part No. 42-102234-01
• Adaptor Tee – Part No. 83-21457-02
