Product Details

The MSD 82738 Blaster Ignition Coil is engineered as a high-performance direct replacement for 1991-2006 Jeep vehicles equipped with the 4.0L inline-six engine. This aftermarket coil delivers improved spark energy over the factory unit, providing more reliable starts, smoother idle, and better throttle response.

Key Features:

  • Direct bolt-in replacement that installs in the factory coil location with no modifications required
  • High-output design provides stronger spark energy for improved ignition performance
  • Durable construction with premium materials for long service life in harsh engine bay conditions
  • Distinctive red housing for easy identification under the hood
  • Replaces Chrysler Jeep OEM part numbers 56041476AB and 56041476AA
  • Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications for reliable operation
  • Backed by a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty

MSD's Blaster Coils are designed for enthusiasts looking to upgrade their ignition system with a proven, reliable component. The improved spark output can help compensate for worn spark plugs or high-resistance plug wires, making this coil an excellent choice for both stock and modified Jeep 4.0L engines.

Happy, just didn't get confirmation email after order was placed.

All good

I have one of these on another boat. I love it and it's saved my lower unit more than once when I unexpectedly found a stump or hard bottom.. It also allows me to run with the motor higher because if the set back.

Went well

I received the order from Autuplicity.
