Gates 12477 Vulco-Flex Molded Coolant Hose

The Gates 12477 is a molded engine coolant hose engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications. Designed as a direct-fit replacement, this hose installs quickly without modification and restores proper coolant flow between the engine, radiator, and heater core components.

Gates manufactures this hose using their Vulco-Flex compound, a premium EPDM rubber formulation that resists heat, ozone, and electrochemical degradation (ECD) — one of the leading causes of hose failure from the inside out. The reinforced construction handles the pressure cycles and temperature extremes of modern cooling systems.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit molded design for easy, no-modification installation
• EPDM rubber construction resists heat, ozone, and electrochemical degradation
• Reinforced carcass withstands cooling system pressure fluctuations
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications for fit, form, and function
• Gates Vulco-Flex premium compound for extended service life
• Compatible with standard coolant types including OAT and HOAT formulas

Gates is a globally recognized leader in power transmission and fluid transfer products. The 12477 coolant hose is a trusted replacement part for maintaining engine temperature regulation and preventing overheating damage.
