Universal Air Conditioner KT1697B A/C Compressor Kit

The Universal Air Conditioner KT1697B is a complete A/C Compressor Kit designed to deliver a straightforward, all-in-one solution for air conditioning system replacement. Rather than sourcing individual components separately, this kit bundles the compressor with the supporting parts needed for a full system refresh, helping to ensure proper operation and long-term reliability after installation.

Kit Contents Typically Include:

• New A/C compressor with clutch assembly
• Accumulator or receiver-drier (moisture and contaminant removal)
• Orifice tube or expansion valve (refrigerant metering)
• Compressor oil (pre-filled or included separately)

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement engineered to OE specifications for proper form and function
• New compressor construction — not remanufactured — for maximum service life
• Kit approach eliminates the guesswork of component-by-component sourcing
• Designed to work with standard R-134a refrigerant systems
• Manufactured by Universal Air Conditioner (UAC), a trusted name in automotive thermal management components

Replacing A/C system components as a complete kit is the recommended practice when a compressor fails, as debris and moisture from a failed compressor can contaminate other system components. The UAC KT1697B compressor kit supports a thorough, professional-quality repair in a single purchase.
