Product Details

The ACDelco 87840008 is a passenger side liftgate strut, also called a liftgate lift support or gas strut. It is a small gas-filled strut that helps hold the liftgate in its open position.

Key Features:

  • Gas-type lift support
  • Passenger side liftgate strut
  • Ball socket connection at both ends, with nylon end material
  • Black outer cylinder
  • OE classification, vehicle-specific fit

This strut is a direct replacement for a worn liftgate support. It is designed to keep the liftgate propped open when you load and unload.
