Key Features:

• Genuine GM Original Equipment part, formerly branded as ACDelco GM OE
• Gas-charged design provides consistent lifting force and support
• Designed and tested to rigorous GM engineering standards
• Direct replacement for OEM part numbers 23408400 and 25800491
• Specifically engineered to work with GM vehicle safety and structural systems
• Driver side (left) installation position

This liftgate strut undergoes extensive validation testing including durability, performance, temperature cycling, corrosion resistance, and fatigue testing. GM Genuine Parts are subjected to aggressive environmental wear testing that simulates heavy loads, exposure to water and salt, bumpy roads, and harsh climatic conditions to ensure long-lasting performance.

Installation Note: Liftgate struts should be replaced in pairs to ensure balanced support and safe operation of your liftgate. A worn or failed strut can create a dangerous condition where the liftgate may unexpectedly close, potentially causing injury.
