Sonnax 96206-05K Oversized Bypass Clutch Control Valve Kit

The Sonnax 96206-05K Oversized Bypass Clutch Control Valve Kit is designed to restore proper converter clutch function in Ford AX4N and 4F50N transmissions experiencing severe valve body bore wear. This comprehensive kit eliminates oil leakage at the inboard and large valve bore, resolving converter clutch apply and release problems commonly caused by high operating temperatures.

Key Features:

• Includes oversized anodized aluminum bypass clutch control valve with tight tolerances
• Complete with matched bypass clutch control sleeve and plunger assembly
• Eliminates regulated converter charge oil leakage caused by worn valve body bores
• Restores proper TCC control and maintains correct oil pressure to lube circuits and cooler
• Precision-manufactured components ensure proper oil flow balance

This kit is specifically designed for situations where the valve body bore is excessively worn and standard replacement sleeves and plungers cannot be used. The oversized valve design provides a precise fit in the enlarged bore, restoring proper hydraulic control. Note: Installation requires tool kit 96206-TL (check with distributor for availability).
