Sonnax 54200-06K Large Ratio Boost Valve Kit for GM 4L30-E AR25 AR35 Transmissions

The Sonnax 54200-06K large ratio boost valve kit is an advanced drop-in repair solution designed to restore proper boost pressure control in GM 4L30-E, AR25, and AR35 automatic transmissions. This kit addresses a common OEM design flaw where steel boost valves wear against aluminum sleeves, causing boost pressure leakage, low line pressure during boost operation, and ultimately resulting in burnt clutches.

Key Features:

• Wear-resistant aluminum sleeve with annular oil passages that distribute boost oil evenly to the valve and reduce side loading
• Hardcoat anodized aluminum valve combats premature wear and extends service life
• Oil grooves in the valve allow it to ride on a film of oil, further reducing friction and wear
• Valve and sleeve made from matched materials to minimize leakage caused by thermal expansion
• Drop-in Zip Valve™ design installs quickly and easily without complex modifications
• Large boost ratio configuration for applications requiring higher boost pressure
• Replaces OEM part #264

This engineered solution restores pressure integrity to the boost circuit and incorporates multiple design improvements to prevent the premature wear common in OEM boost valves. Compatible with GM 4L30-E transmissions and their European equivalents (AR25 and AR35).
