Sonnax 44912-10K Oversized Pressure Regulator Valve - Kit for 45RFE 545RFE 65RFE 66RFE 68RFE

The Sonnax 44912-10K is an oversized pressure regulator valve kit engineered to restore proper line pressure control in Chrysler 45RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE, and 68RFE transmissions. This kit addresses a common issue where excessive wear in the OE pressure regulator valve bore allows critical oil loss, resulting in erratic line pressure, soft shifting, and potential clutch failure.

Key Features:

• Hardcoat anodized aluminum valve construction combats premature wear
• Annular grooves help center the valve in the bore to reduce side-load wear
• Oversized design compensates for worn bores when properly reconditioned
• Restores pressure regulator action for consistent line pressure control in all ranges
• Prevents line pressure instability that can restrict cooler and lube flow

What's Included:

• Oversized pressure regulator valve
• Spring
• Selective springs for proper calibration

Installation Note: This kit requires bore reconditioning using Sonnax tool F-44912-TL10 and the VB-FIX self-aligning valve body reaming fixture (sold separately). When installed correctly, this kit eliminates the balance oil pressure loss that causes the PR valve to move out of position, restoring proper transmission function and preventing premature clutch damage.
